Queen Quet at the James Jamerson Day Bass Symposium

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) like millions of other people has long been a supporter of the Motown Sound. Her appreciation of this music became greater when she became aware that James Jamerson of the Funk Brothers from Motown is a native of Edisto Island, SC in the Gullah/Geechee Nation. As a result, she has supported the efforts of Anthony McKnight to get James Jamerson into the South Carolina Hall of Fame. She insured that he is in the Gullah/Geechee Nation Hall of Fame.

In order to continue honoring the legacy of this outstanding bass player, the James Jamerson Bass Symposium will take place in Charleston, SC on Friday, September 20, 2019. Geometry Dash rewards consistency. If you take breaks too often, your rhythm gets thrown off. I noticed I play much better when I'm warmed up and fully focused on the timing of obstacles.

I’m curious if you have participated in Granny Game similar instrumental music events or symposiums? Do you think combining local cultural history with music helps attract more young people?
