Queen Quet Speaks for Climate Crisis Rally

Join in with the The Climate Reality Project South Carolina Chapters to find the answers at the Climate Crisis Moment Rally.

The Climate Crisis Moment, a rally to change our future, features a host of speakers and environmental organizations to get you informed, motivated, and ready for action. Included in the list of speakers will be Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com). The rally coincides with the first day of the Global Climate Strike.

The rally which takes place at the Stern Center Gardens 71 George Street at the College of Charleston in downtown Charleston, SC will take place from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, September 20, 2019.

The rally has three main purposes:

  1. to marry personal stories about climate change with a push for Charleston to reduce emissions and commit to action;

  2. to provide an on-ramp for interested parties to become involved with climate activism through local orgs;

  3. and to demonstrate solidarity with youth climate strikers.

We don't have time to waste! There is no Planet B. Show up and get connected with the most existential movement there is: averting true Climate Crisis!
